About Plastazote LD45 Foam Material Sheets, Blue, 40" X

Plastazote is a closed cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam. A wide range of polymer combinations is available to give increased stiffness, improved temperature resistance and improved moldability. Applications include packaging, protective padding in contact sports, automotive, health care and construction. The inert qualities of Plastazote have led to its widespread use in healthcare products, such as orthotics. A range of densities is available including soft LD45, stiff LD70 and rigid HD110. Plastazote foams are engineered to offer superior performance at a lighter weight. The absence of any chemical agents in the foam and a consistency of cell structure and density allows Plastazote to remain the world's lightest cross-linked foam. Plastazote also makes crafting and costume design fun and easy by its heat moldability, its propensity for maintaining a shape, and for its comfort as a lining material.
