Bad Habit started kicking up dust on the Long Beach rap scene, and making a name for himself as such. When the Baker Boys were waking up everybody at 6:30 in the morning on Power 106's Roll Call, Mr Habit was calling in free styling the LBC on his way to school. To the Fullest. Ultimately, Bad Habit was rapping and paying his dues. Subsequently, Bad Habit formed a rap group with 3 of his older neighbors who he eventually became close friends with. It was Goldie, Bad Habit, and Tric Locc. Mr. Bad Habit got his first break with his crew, when they landed a commercial gig with Pepsi doing a freestyle battle at Raging Waters in San Dimas Ca. Realizing the reaction he got from the fans, and producers of the commercial, Cavey Thug founder, realized that Freestyle Rap was another one of his Bad Habit's! Little did he know that these humble, yet trying beginnings, the Real Long Beach Bad Habit would bring the essence of West Coast Rap back on the map.
