Gränsfors Bruk CERAMIC GRINDING STONE (p/n: 4034) - Man-made of ceramic abrasives with two grinding faces: a course side (180 grit) for repairing damage and heavy wear, and a fine side (600 grit) for sharpening. Diameter: 2.2” (57 mm); Weight: 6.5 oz (160g). Does NOT require honing oil and can be used with water or dry. Chamfered edges to prevent chipping.

Description What's in this bundle? A. Gränsfors Bruk SCANDINAVIAN FOREST AXE - designed for felling larger trees and for limbing a felled tree. A more professional tool for those wishing to work in the forest in a more traditional way. The axe is forged to a curved bit, making it suitable for cutting into fresh, resinous wood such as spruce or pine. The long handle also gives more power to the cut. Supplied sharp with a leather sheath and "The Axe Book". Length with handle: 25" (63 cm) Head weight: 2 lb (0.9 kg) Total weight: 2.6 lb (1.2 kg) Cutting edge: 3½" (89 mm) plus B. Gränsfors Ceramic Grinding Stone - a man-made sharpening stone with two grinding faces: a course side (180 grit) for repairing damage and heavy wear, and a fine side (600 grit) for sharpening. The ceramic composite makes the stone both durable and strong. In contrast to natural sandstone, a ceramic grinding stone can be given a more precise grain size. Its shape is round and flat with a bevelled edge to prevent chipping. The fine side is 2/3 of the thickness, as this side is usually used and worn down most. The stone is normally used with water but can be used dry. The stone comes in a protective rubber case, which also acts as a convenient holder during grinding/sharpening.
