Application: Specially designed for precise and clean cuts through para-aramid and aramid fibers, synthetic fibers and composite materials such as Kevlar, Dyneema, Spectra, Vectran, Dacron, Carbon Fiber in rope, fiber, fabric, tape, and thread form with ease. Also used for splicing.

Specifications: Blades made of High Carbon Alloy Steel infused with Molybedenum and Vanadium to achieve a HRC 60-62 level of hardness. Cutting edge hardness HV1200. One micro-serrated blade to provide maximum hold on the material to ensure a clean and precise cut. Extended tang for durability. Non-serrated blade cna be sharpened. RoHS compliant.

The handles are ergonimically designed to reduce fatigue and wrist strain, while allowing powerful and accurate cuts. Handles are ambidextrous for right or left hand use and are made of Thermoplastic Elastomer for comfort and durability.

About Vampire Tools VSHEARS - 6 1/4" Synthetic
These shears are ideal to cut materials made from aramid and para-aramid fibers such as Kevlar, Dyneema, Vectran, Technora and Polyester in rope, ribbon or tape form. Its blades are made of high carbon alloy steel from Japan and are infused with Molybdenum and Vanadium (HRC60±2) through a proprietary process to achieve a level of hardness (HV1200) to cut strong materials. It can also be used to cut materials from carbon fiber, glass fiber, plastic, canvas, upholstery, headliner, cloth string and many other materials. These scissors are specially designed for cutting Kevlar material - Kevlar thread in particular. One blade is micro-serrated along the whole edge. The blades are made of high carbon alloy steel with Molydenum and Vanadium edge 60~62, cutting edge hardness HV1200. The handles are especially designed for firm grip and to ease repetitive cutting action.
