Acetal (homopolymer) Delrin is a general grade resin plastic that is slightly easier to machine than Acetal Copolymer. It is typically used in bearings, bushings, electrical components, structural keels, gears, and rollers. Acetal homopolymer is an engineering thermoplastic polymer that provides good strength and stiffness. It is easily machined with conventional metal working equipment into custom components having very close tolerances. It also absorbs minimal amounts of moisture, is slightly stronger, but has less chemical resistance than copolymer acetals. This product weighs 0.19 pounds.
