The linear dimensions of our sheets are nominal and they have a tolerance of +-1/8" in each direction (length and width). Therefore the dimensions you request will be within the tolerance stated High Impact Polystyrene (HIS) is a low cost, tough plastic that is easy to thermoform and fabricate. HIPS is often used for countertop point of purchase displays and indoor signs where ease of fabrication is essential. High impact polystyrene is used for models, prototypes, signs, displays, enclosures, and more. It can be drilled, threaded, sawed, sheared, punched and machined. It can also be painted and has excellent forming properties. Its maximum heat resistance is 180F and the forming temp is -325F to 350F and is not UV stabilized.
