This is because Boscháuses a submersible patented connection system that protects against contamination and withstands the effects of extreme temperatures and engine vibration.á The Posi-Lock connectors can be unscrewed and reconnected in case of a wiring mistake whereas other sensors use butt connectors that are permanently deformed during crimping, making them unsuitable for re-use.á Each Bosch universal heated oxygen sensor is manufactured with a two-foot length of sensor wire to allow maximum replacement of worn wire on the OE sensor being replaced.
