Can be used on flat roofs, metal roofs, asphalt roofs, rubber roofs, slate roofs, stone roofs, metal roofs, ceramic roofs, composite (tar and gravel) roofs, and so on. Rated 10W/ft at 32°F (0°C) for roof deicing. For roof deicing applications, you may need to buy clips and hangers separately.

HEATIT JHSF1 is commercial grade self regulating heating cable. Compared with the regular heating cables, there are three most obvious advantages: 1. Safe: There is almost no overheat risk. 2. More powerful than regular heating cable: In the application of pipe freeze protection, its output is around 5 watt/ft @ 50℉(10℃) and 8.3 watt/ft @ -4℉(-20℃).
