The Kidde Wireless Smoke Detector with Escape Light, Long-Life Lithium Battery Operated, Voice Alert, model P4010LDCS-W, helps protect both your home and your family. With a lithium battery, this smoke alarm will continue working during a power outage, and it requires no battery replacement during its lifetime. When the fire alarm sounds, you'll hear a loud, 85-decibel alarm and a voice alert will announce, "FIRE!" so there's no confusion about why the alarm is sounding. A bright LED escape light will also illuminate automatically, helping guide you and your loved ones to safety. The Kidde wireless connected lithium battery powered smoke alarm with escape light contains an advanced photoelectric sensor that may detect visible particles sooner than ionization alarms. These particles are often associated with smoldering fires, giving you a faster alert. A flashing LED status ring lets you easily know the current state of the fire detector: green for working, amber for error, and red for danger detected. It also features wire-free interconnect capability, allowing multiple smoke alarms of this type to communicate wirelessly so when one alarm sounds, all connected smoke detectors will sound.
