GENERAL PURPOSE GROWTH MEDIUM || 100g bottle of general purpose, non-selective powdered growth medium. Used to grow, maintain and study a wide variety of non-fastidious and moderately fastidious bacteria in petri dishes or culture tube slants.

EASY TO PREPARE || Simply mix 40 g medium with 1 L deionized water and bring to a boil while stirring to ensure medium is completely dissolved. Pour into petri dishes or tubes, then allow medium to cool and harden.

EXCELLENT FOR LABORATORIES AND CLASSROOMS || Ideal for use in general biology and microbiology laboratories and classrooms.

APPLICATIONS || This medium will allow a wide variety of non-fastidious and moderately fastidious bacteria to grow, so it is great for a variety of experiments and science projects. Practice basic microbiology skills, or swab different surfaces to determine the relative amounts of micro-organisms present.

About Innovating Science Tryptic Soy Agar, 100g - Growth
100 grams of tryptic soy agar, used as a growth medium for the cultivation and study of bacterial samples. Agar comes dehydrated in a plastic open-mouth bottle for convenient storage. Tryptic soy agar is a good non-fastidious growth medium. Mix 40 grams of the dehydrated medium with a liter of water and bring to a boil before pouring into petri dishes. This bottle makes 2 liters of agar, making it a quick and easy addition to a lab or classroom. For Laboratory Use Only. Not for drug, food or household use. Keep out of reach of children.
