About Corset Busk - 13-inch German Steel. White
A busk is the rigid closure in the front of a corset. They are made of two long pieces of steel that can withstand the tension of corset lacing, one with eyes/hooks and the other with posts. They are available in a variety of lengths and widths. Standard busks are 1/2" wide white steel bone with the hooks and posts securely riveted. The white nylon coating is very durable and prevents rusting. 13" (33 cm.) length. 13" busk has 6 hooks and posts. Spacing from center of post to post: 2" High quality German steel. Safe to dry clean!
