The House2Home 60" Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric is made from 100% polypropylene and weighs in at 42 gsm (1.25 oz/sq. yd), classifying it as a medium-weight backing. Sometimes the material is referred to as interfacing, nonwoven polypropylene fabric, or non-woven interfacing. Unlike fusible interfacing, it does not have an adhesive and is intended to be sewn directly to the backside of the fabric. Sew-in interfacing allows the fabric to shape and drape naturally where fusible interfacing can make the fabric more stiff than desired. Our spunbond polypropylene fabric comes in one yard lengths allowing you to purchase the fabric by the yard so you don't buy more than you need. This makes it ideal for projects where one solid piece of sewing material is needed.
