The House2Home 60" Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric is made from 100% polypropylene and weighs in at 68 gsm (2 oz/sq. yd), classifying it as a heavy-weight backing. Sometimes the material is referred to as interfacing, nonwoven polypropylene fabric, or non-woven interfacing. Unlike fusible interfacing, it does not have an adhesive and is intended to be sewn directly to the backside of the fabric. Sew-in interfacing allows the fabric to shape and drape naturally where fusible interfacing can make the fabric more stiff than desired. Our spunbond polypropylene fabric comes in continuous 3-yard lengths to provide you a greater value than having to purchase the fabric by the yard. This makes it ideal for projects where one solid piece of sewing material is needed.
