About Mitutoyo 570-312CAL Absolute Digimatic Height Gauge
The calibrated Mitutoyo 570-312CAL Absolute Digimatic digital height gauge is for measuring or marking the height of objects. The gauge has a measurement range of 0 to 12.0" (0 to 300mm), resolution of 0.0005" (0.01mm), and an accuracy of + or - 0.0015". The LCD screen displays 10mm high characters in inches and metric units. The scriber on this model is carbide-tipped for durability and the column is rigid for accuracy. The gauge has a hand-operated feed wheel for coarse adjustments. Mitutoyo calibrated tools include a Certificate of Calibration that provides evidence that the tool has been calibrated and is within allowable error specifications. Mitutoyo calibrated tools are certified by Mitutoyo's American Association for Laboratory Accreditation-accredited calibration laboratory (A2LA Certificate #750-01) to the International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025 International Standard for testing and calibration laboratories.Additional functions for this indicator include origin set, absolute and incremental measurement, data hold, and alerts for low voltage and counting value composition errors. An Absolute electrostatic capacitance-type linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors and ensure accurate measurements. This model has a battery life of approximately 20,000 hours of normal use. This unit comes with a SR-44 battery.
