About Megger MIT1525-US - 15 KV Industrial Insulation

Megger MIT1525-US - 15 kV Industrial Insulation Tester 15 kV max. test voltage 6 mA noise rejection - 3 mA S/C current Safety: CATIV 1000V rated to 3000 m Always ready to test - Dual Li-ion batteries or AC supplyThe Megger MIT1525 is the flagship unit in Megger's MIT series of insulation resistance testers. The unit can perform insulation resistance tests up to 15 kV with a 30 teraohm maximum resistance and an accuracy of +-5 % from 1 MO up to 3 TO. The MIT1525 includes a full range of test modes including IR, Timed IR, DAR, PI, DD, SV and ramp diagnostic tests. The unit features internal memory which logs data every 5 seconds when active, up to a total of 5.5 hours. With the MIT1525, users also have the option to transfer this data to a PC via an integrated USB port. With this instrument, Megger has focused on improving productivity. The MIT1525 includes a rapid-charge battery which charges fully from empty in 2.5 hours, providing 4.5 hours of continuous testing. These batteries will also charge up to one hour of life after only 30 minutes of charging time, meaning users can still complete their tests with only minimal waiting even in the event the unit dies. For even more versatility, Megger has designed the MIT1525 to also be able to run off of an AC or mains power source, bypassing the battery altogether.
