About Oregon Scientific RGR202 Wireless Rain Gauge And

RGR202 Wireless Rain Gauge and Temperature Station Rests by the window, keeping you informed about the weather and more You are going to love this little wonder. Beyond telling you the temperature, and alerting you to unsafe driving conditions, this handy gadget can help you ensure your wine collection is cool, your greenhouse is fecund, and any temperature-sensitive goods are safe and fresh. The face display is easy to read, thanks to its large LCD digits, making it visible from across a room. An included stand allows you to place it on a table or desk, or you can choose to use its integrated magnet to mount it to the refrigerator. One wireless remote is included, but you can use up to three remotes depending on how many locations you want to monitor. Product Features An easy-to-read display Everyone loves knowing the temperature for reasons of practicality and fun. Is it safe to drive? Can we eat outside? What should I wear on my run? Do I need a jacket? It’s almost like having your mom there. Almost. The LCD digits are large and therefore legible from a distance, making it easy to take quick note of conditions. Convenient sub-freezing alert It’s nice to know about ice in your driveway before you get there. A LED light blinks green when sub-freezing temperatures are reached, warning you of unsafe driving conditions. Or telling you to wrap that extra scarf around your neck and find the earmuffs. Again, almost like Mom. Too bad it can’t also make you a cup of hot chocolate. Multiple Remotes You can monitor temperatures in up to three locations up to 100 feet away (two other remote sensors sold separately). Depending on your needs, this can really come in handy. Do you have a wine cellar, a guest house, or a greenhouse? These are just some examples of why you might decide to add some sensors. Placement You can mount this on your refrigerator, or any metal surface, because the unit has an integrated magnet. It also comes with its own stand, allowing for placement on any desktop, table or counter surface in your home. It’s nice to have options. Small and Unobtrusive The large easy to read display is incorporated in a small sleek package. The gauge measures 2.6 by 3.4 by 1.1 inches and weighs only 8 ounces. It is wireless, averting the problem of unsightly cords or the need to be near an outlet. (The required 2 AAA batteries and 1 AA battery are not included).
