Erik the Flutemaker has been making flutes since 1970. It has been a joy to provide flutes all around the world, and now enters the jungle known as the Amazon. After decades of perfecting his bamboo flutes, whistles, and saxophones, Erik's designs have now been translated to new materials like this gorgeous cocobolo hardwood. An exotic wood that grows throughout the Pacific rim, the rich warmth of cocobolo makes it an excellent material for instrument making. Each flute is handmade and sealed with coconut oil for natural protection and shine. The deeper 12 1/2 inch C Whistle has a sweet voice and can play in C major, D minor, A minor and F. Our penny whistles respond well in both air-conditioned environments and outdoors and will last for decades. Each flute comes with its own bag, each hand made using beautiful patterned fabrics.
