About Optimum (22530) Waffle Foam Pad
Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad is a great one step polishing pad that can be used with Zen tool DA Polisher to remove medium to light scratches and swirl marks in one or two passes. The waffle design as well as the breathable backing plate of Zen tool DA Polisher keeps the surface cool to avoid burnishing the paint that is caused by over-heating the surface. DIRECTIONS: To remove 3,000 grit or finer sanding marks spray Optimum Hyper Compound on the Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad using Zen tool DA Polisher at speed of 3-4 or a rotary buffer at 1200-1400 RPM. This combination will remove (not hide) scratches after 1-2 passes and leave a finish with zero marring that is free of swirl marks. Follow up with Optimum Hyper Polish and Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad to refine the paint surface before applying Optimum Car Wax.
