About Trocha Del Caribe, Indigo
The shape of this plate was hand drawn then cut by hand. It reminded me of an ancient fish. I chose to print it in indigo ink to enhance the ancient feeling. The Indigo allows all the values in the print to sing. The eye is more engaged with the lights and darks than with the actual forms.
