Each tip is laser imprinted with the US/metric diameter size. All parts/pieces are coded [S] for easy identification and use. Similarly coded SPIN and TWIST tips, cables and accessories are switchable.
About ChiaoGoo Twist Shorties Stainless Steel
The 2-inch (5cm) blue TWIST Shorties tips are made of solid surgical stainless steel and have a tightening hole allowing the use of two tightening keys for a secure connection. The 3-inch (5cm) tips are hollow with no tightening hole. Use one 2-inch tip and one 3-inch tip to make a differential circular. Included with the set are 10 pair of tips, 3 X-Flex [S] cables, 2 cable connectors, 2 end stoppers, 6 stitch markers, 4 tightening keys, a needle gauge, a tip sleeve with labeled pockets and snap enclosure and, a compact, blue nylon pouch that holds everything. This set allows you to make 9-inch (23cm) and longer circulars. Caution: TWIST cables are made of a multi-strand steel cable with nylon coating. They WILL kink when compromised. Use carefully and store in a safe place when not in use. It is not recommended to use the 5-inch (13cm) cable with two 3-inch (8cm) tips.
