Instead of applying enough pressure for the die to cut through the card or paper, it reduces the pressure to result in an embossed image or pattern. To care for your mats, please flip and rotate after each pass. If the mat does start to bow, flip over and pass through until it is flat again, then continue to flip and rotate as normal.
