When not in use its thirty 12" x 16" shelves can be folded into a 4-1/2" x 16" x 42" long size and hung on the same brackets giving back most of the space it takes when in use. Each shelf has wire crosspieces forming a 4" x 8" grid. Two racks can be bolted together providing 60 shelves in a vertical column. There is a 1" distance between the shelves.
