[Initialization] After powering on, turn the wheel to keep 4 green lights on to finish the Initialization. Otherwise you will get inaccurate results.

[For Diamond] When testing diamond(both Mosanite and natural diamond), it will emits in a low frequency beeping and 1-4 pieces of the RED LAMP box of the level meter light on(the bigger the size of the stone is, the more pieces of the red lamp box of the level meter light up)

[METAL ALERT]:Continuous buzzing sound when touch metal.( The thermal conductivity of the metal is very high and can give the same indication as a diamond with most thermal probes.) This Diamond Selector II has a metal Alert Buzzer to warn you when touches metal. If you hear the Metal Alert buzzing sound,re-touch the probe tip so as to touch only the tested stone.

[Note]: This diamond tester cannot distinguish Mosanite and diamonds. Because the product works by measuring the thermal conductivity of an object. The thermal conductivity of Mosanite is almost the same as diamond.

As for the hand which hold diamond tester, you have to touch the electricity conductive panel on the back of the unit.If you test the diamond just by one hand, you will get a wrong result.
