These are the industry standard (#8-9) 1/4" inch barrel diameter kydex eyelets (sometimes called kydex rivets) that are used in DIY Kydex, Holstex, and Boltaron holster and knife sheath making. They are also commonly used in making leather knife sheaths & gun holsters, and can be used in upholstery and garment manufacturing. The #8-9 eyelet length is designed for binding materials with combined thicknesses from .160" up to .1875". This allows for the proper roll-over head flaring needed to securely bind the combined materials. The through-hole needed for this eyelet is .250 inches. With this diameter, the eyelet will press through the hole with minimum side-to-side play. This ensures that the materials being bound do not realign.
