About Marantz Professional PMD-602A 2-Channel DSLR Audio
The Marantz Professional PMD-602A 2-Channel DSLR Audio Interface is a two-channel battery-operated interface. The PMD-602A allows you to use condenser microphones or line-level audio devices with DSLR cameras or other field recording equipment. Powered by four AA batteries, the PMD-602A is extremely convenient and provides 12V or 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. The interface features two XLR-1/4" combo inputs with input sensitivity and two-stage gain control, as well as a 1/8" stereo line input and limiter to ensure gain matching. The line output master lets you feed any camera or recorder line input while monitoring through the headphone output. Additionally, the PMD-602A offers a 1/4"-20 mounting bracket on the top for the attachment of a camera, and a tripod socket on the bottom of the unit for added flexibility.
