• This kit includes a wide range of preparation solutions required for gold plating onto chrome items, stainless steel, mild steel, and most copper alloys. Including (1) 16 oz. bottle of the following solutions: Chrome Stripping Solution, Surface Activator Solution (Nickel Activator), & Wood's Nickel Strike Solution.

About Universal Plater - Chrome Edition - Brush Plating

The Universal Plater - Chrome Edition Is a great machine for those who want to plate onto chrome plated surfaces. This machine will accomplish all that our Universal Plater But allows you to remove existing chrome surfaces. This machine comes with the ability to go in and out of the chrome stripping mode, which requires a reverse polarity. It has an increased power supply of 12 volts and 10 amperes. This will help decrease the amount of time you need to spend stripping the chrome off an item so that you can gold plate it. It is also designed to have a safety function that will de-active the activator and plating ports when in the chrome stripping mode so that you don't ruin your plating job if you fail to switch back to the plating mode.
