Made of stoneware, this dish is safe to move among the oven, microwave, and freezer and will not experience any cracking with temperature changes. The plastic cover has a self-sealing gasket along its edge to keep food fresher while being stored in the refrigerator or freezer. The cover is also safe for use when reheating food in the microwave. Both the dish and lid are dishwasher-safe (top rack only for the lid) and are designed to clean easily without trapping any food residue.
