After washing and drying, it forms little honeycombs in two layers that feel comfy. It is different than rug-like mats, but those mats are so thick they stay damp and get smelly. How does it dry so quickly? It’s all in the flat waffle weave. Sculptural honeycombs offer tons of surface area for moisture to evaporate from, so there’s nowhere for moisture to get “trapped.” Is it really machine wash and dry? Yes.
