About SKF 305804 C-2Z Yoke Type Track Roller, Crowned

This SKF yoke-type track roller bearing has a crowned cylindrical outer ring shape and metal shields and is suitable for supporting high static and dynamic loads in track-type applications. The crowned outer ring provides resistance to roller misalignment and the yoke-type design is appropriate for heavier loads or where clevis or shaft mounting is preferred. A thick-walled outer ring helps minimize deformation under heavy radial and shock loads. This track roller has two rows of angular contact ball bearings held in place by twin pressed steel cages that space the rollers for even load distribution and prevent contact to reduce friction, vibration, and noise. Metal shields at each end protect against contaminants. This track roller is suitable for use in a broad range of linear and motion translation applications including process transfer lines, ram support rollers, conveyors, machine tools, and indexing equipment. Roller bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All roller bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, dental equipment, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among others. SKF manufactures bearings, seals, and lubrication systems for automotive, energy, and other industrial applications. The company, founded in 1907 and headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards 9001 and 14001 and ISO/TS 16949.
