About Labnet C0206-A Model Z206 A High Capacity Compact

The Labnet Z206 A centrifuge runs at speeds from 200 to 6,000 rpm, is compatible with four interchangeable rotors (sold separately) for spinning commonly used tubes, and holds up to six 50mL tubes. The centrifuge provides digital control of speed in rpm or relative centrifugal force (RCF), and has LCD readouts to show all settings. It automatically shuts off if an imbalance is detected for reduced wear, noise, and vibration. There are ten preset acceleration and deceleration levels for various applications. This centrifuge is used in research and clinical laboratories for blood, urine, and cell separations. The operation of this centrifuge can be timed from 10 seconds to 99 hours and 59 minutes, or set to continuous. The unit is non-refrigerated and does not have temperature control features. A centrifuge is used to spin fluids of different densities to separate various parts, commonly blood and DNA samples. Centrifuges are composed of the main body or housing and a spinning rotor. Tubes of cellular material suspended in liquid are inserted into the rotor and spun at various speeds to separate components. Centrifuges are used in medical, industrial, and research laboratories, as well as academic and clinical settings. Labnet International, Inc., manufactures plastic labware and laboratory equipment for liquid handling, molecular biology, and bioresearch applications. The company, founded in 1984, is headquartered in Edison, NJ. What's in the Box? Labnet Z206 A centrifuge (2) Replacement fuses Rotor removal tool Instructions
