Refrigerated variable-speed centrifuge (-20 to +40 degrees C) with a maximum speed of 18,000 rpm
Compatible with 15 interchangeable rotors (sold separately) and can accommodate up to four 100mL tubes
Automatic rotor recognition with speed limitation for increased safety
Automatically shuts off when imbalance is detected for reduced wear, noise, and vibration
Store up to 99 centrifugation programs for operating efficiency and repeatability of results
The Labnet Z326 K refrigerated centrifuge (-20 to +40 degrees C) has a maximum speed of 18,000 rpm. It is compatible with 15 interchangeable rotors (sold separately) for spinning commonly used tubes, bottles, and microplates, and can hold up to four 100mL tubes. This centrifuge has a rotor recognition program that automatically limits each rotor to its maximum rated speed to ensure safety of samples. It automatically shuts off if an imbalance is detected for reduced wear, noise, and vibration, and an electronic lid lock prevents the unit from being opened during operation for increased safety. The centrifuge can store up to 99 centrifugation programs for operating efficiency and repeatability of results. Both the actual and set values of speed, acceleration, deceleration, temperature, and time are shown on the LCD. This centrifuge is suitable for applications in clinical chemistry, biotechnology, and life science research. This centrifuge has ten preset acceleration and deceleration levels for various applications, and operation can be timed from 10 seconds to 99 hours or set to continuous. A centrifuge is used to spin fluids of different densities to separate various parts, commonly blood and DNA samples. Centrifuges are composed of the main body or housing and a spinning rotor. Tubes of cellular material suspended in liquid are inserted into the rotor and spun at various speeds to separate components. Centrifuges are used in medical, industrial, and research laboratories, as well as academic and clinical settings. Labnet International, Inc., manufactures plastic labware and laboratory equipment for liquid handling, molecular biology, and bioresearch applications. The company, founded in 1984, is headquartered in Edison, NJ. What's in the Box? Labnet Z326 K centrifuge Power cord Instructions
