This is a LARGE and HEAVY blanket, 4 pounds and measuring 84" long by 64" wide. Unless you're taller than 7 feet from head to toe, this emergency survival blanket is sure to keep you warm. Made from heavy wool, this Army/Military style blanket is the same type of heavy blanket you would find in an Army Surplus store. These are nice hefty blankets, sure to endure cold temperatures and keep you warm, not like cheaper versions sold online. Blanket is 80% Wool, 20% Synthetic gray, so it won't itch as much as a 100% wool blanket would, but still keeps the heat in like a wool blanket. Heavy Duty and Large, this wool blanket is great for camping, to keep in the back of your car or truck for emergency/survival gear, etc. Flame retardant and machine washable, this heavy large gray wool Military type Blanket is sure to last for years of reliable service. Wash: Use Mild Detergent like Woollite, which is specially formulated for wool. It's also recommended that you add a 1/2 cup of vinegar in the laundry detergent compartment, or during the wash cycle. This will help to cut down on the wool lint that releases from your blanket. Dry: Air dry is recommended, although low heat on a dry cycle is also acceptable. Using low dry heat may result in the "pilling" of your wool blanket, reducing its life; therefore, air dry is recommended for years of reliable service.
