Horseware Amigo Stock Horse Turnout Sheet The Amigo(R) Stock Horse Turnout is a waterproof and breathable blanket designed to fit the shape of a Ranch or Stock horse. This blanket incorporates D-rings for the attachment of optional leg straps, and has a neck cover (sold separately). An improperly fitted blanket can cause rubbing and slippage. To find out what size Amigo(R) blanket your pony needs, measure the distance from the center of the chest to the center of the tail. Horseware Amigo(R) blankets are sized in three-inch increments, so you will need to choose the closest size available. If you measure between sizes, we recommend that you round up. Care Of Your Horse's Blanket To keep your blanket as comfortable as possible for your pony and to maximize the blanket's life, we recommend that you clean your blanket annually. First, remove excess dirt from the outside of the blanket with a brush and hose. The blanket can then be washed either by hand, or on a delicate cycle with cool water in a commercial washer. Use only very mild soap. Horseware(R) recommends Rambo(R) Rug Wash, an environmentally friendly product for use on synthetic fabrics. Rambo(R) Rug Wash will effectively remove dirt without damaging the waterproof coating. When the blanket has been washed, allow to drip dry and ensure that the blanket is thoroughly dry before storage. Do not put your pony's blanket in the dryer or wash with hot water.
