About Keeping Busy Animals Word Search Dementia And
There are lots of word search books out there, in a range of difficulties and they are a great activity for people able to do them. The problem is that as the person's abilities decline they can become frustrated and may even lose interest in doing them. Our word search puzzles are specially designed to be appropriate for people with dementia. They are challenging, but simplified in that no words run from right to left, diagonally or bottom to top. The words are familiar (all based on "Animals") and the letters are large and easy to read. There are three levels of difficulty allowing you to find the puzzles that the person can do on their own, changing the level as the person's abilities change. The included instructions describe ways to help people complete the puzzles on their own if they are having difficulties. This Grab & Go package includes everything you need for a quick and fun activity that doesn't require a lot of supervision. The Grab & Go package includes six reusable puzzles (two laminated puzzles at each of three levels of difficulty), all contained in a plastic sleeve. The puzzles can be wiped clean and reused. We also offer a "Tools" and a "Seasons" Word Search Grab & Go as well as Grab & Go packages with all puzzles at one level (Easy, Medium or Difficult).
