Product Description Scotch Delicate Surface Painter’s Tape is great for surfaces that require a little extra care such as wood floors, wallpaper, cabinets, painted drywall, and freshly painted walls* (*painted at least 24 hours ago). This delicate surface tape with gentle adhesive can stay on surfaces for up to 60 days and then removes easily without leaving any sticky residue behind. This tape features Edge-Lock Technology that seals out paint to deliver sharp paint lines and clean removal for your more sensitive projects, including accent walls, decorative stripes and patterns. Pad face patterns are designed into the foam to hold more compound and limit slinging, as well as provide more contact with the surface for maximum efficiency. Double- and single-sided constructions work with the 3M Quick Connect and Hookit attachment systems to save time and preserve pad life. Choose a 3-, 6- or 8-inch diameter pad for a variety of specific applications including working with cured, hard or medium finish paint, denibbing, scratch removal and refining P1200 or finer sand scratches even in confined spaces. Another Perfect-It Top Performer3M developed these foam pads as part of the Perfect-It Paint Finishing System to keep pace with evolving paint and clear coat technologies. Foam pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool pads, ideal for the critical compounding stages of paint refinishing.
