This is the story of a girl who lives in the middle of a never-ending construction site. She is fourteen and the only way the world makes sense is when she writes down how it makes her feel. She is sixteen and people never seem to understand anything. Meanwhile, her world is built. She is seventeen and every day new doors are put in for her to open and walk through. She is eighteen and the building is done and she loves the view. She turns nineteen and she now knows some things are meant to be built anew. This is the story of a girl who lives in the middle of a construction site. Things are blown up, things are burnt down. The deeper the holes in the ground, the higher the cranes in the sky. She’s walking through the noise, she’s taking detours, she’s figuring it all out. She is dreaming under clear blue skies. Coralline Ethier is a nine-teen-year-old part-time poet and soon-to-be university student.
