The CHAMPRO Triple-Play Youth Catcher’s Set is a collection of everything a young catcher needs to get started behind the plate. The kit includes a piece of hockey-style headgear, the Optimus MVP Chest Protector, and a pair of Optimus MVP Leg Guards. HOCKEY-STYLE HEADGEAR: The headgear is made of a durable hockey-style ABS shell with a multi-density pad system and overhead ventilation to increase air circulation, keeping catchers cooler behind the plate and under the sun. OPTIMUS MVP CHEST PROTECTOR: Compression-molded as a single piece, the Optimus MVP chest protector absorbs energy and reduces the amount transferred from impacts. Includes detachable shoulder and tail extensions. OPTIMUS MVP LEG GUARDS: Built with a cantilever-shaped lining system to spread the shock of impact and minimize the force transferred to the catcher’s shins. An extra knee cap covers part of the upper leg, providing an extra protective extension. Available in 2 sizes. Youth 6-9 contains 13. 5” chest protector and 12” shin guard.
