About Uniden U60C Cell Phone Signal Booster | Yagi/Whip
The Uniden U60C is the base-level signal booster in the Uniden line. It’s inexpensive, easy to install, and no frills: it just works. It covers up to 1500 sq ft, but is most comfortably placed in a single room. Its whip antenna behaves much like one on a WiFi router, and should be placed in the area you desire signal in the most.There are a few versions of the U60C. Omni outdoor antennas are the easiest to install, while the Yagi antenna provides more power. Selecting the 50-Ohm version provides you with thicker coaxial cable, leading to more difficult cable runs but superior power. The 75-Ohm version provides thinner coaxial, leading to easier installation but more signal loss along its run.
