STOP YOUR 2.7 CHRYSLER ENGINE FROM JUMPING TIMING. This fits all 1999-2010 2.7 liter Chrysler engines. This is a perfect solution to all the owners of a 2.7 chryser engine. The stop block addresses the issue of the 2.7 Liter Chrysler dual overhead cam engine of the timing chain jumping and valves bending due to piston contact. This timing block installs directly under the main primary chain by using the two included bolts in place of your existing bolts. This STOP BLOCK is designed to used with a running engine that has a used timing chain. Installation is very simple. To install, remove the right hand valve cover, keep pressure on guide to prevent the chain from moving. Then simply remove the small front head bolts. Bolt the guide stop block to the head using the two new bolts supplied in your kit. Some engines may require some minor modifications. If the holes do not line up correctly, you may need to grind part of the stop block so your bolt holes line up. Then reinstall the valve cover.
