Emilio Traverso plays the Alari organ in the Abbey of St. Matthew, one of the most historic instruments in Genoa, Italy. Dell'Orto and Lanzini completed its restoration in 2004. Traverso, a Genoa native, is professor of organ, composition, and Gregorian chant at the Paganini Conservatory in his hometown.
