She tried out for the role in secret. Her husband listened to all the actors without seeing them, and she got the part! Woody's last appearance was in the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." He also appeared on the Academy Awards' TV show to celebrate his 50th Birthday. Now he's back with a new TV show on Fox Kids Network. Woody is one amazing woodpecker!
