Ruland quick clamping shaft collars with cam lever have tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤.05mm) for proper alignment of mating components
Shaft collars are commonly used as guides, spacers, mechanical stops, and for component alignment on a shaft. They are one of the most common power transmission components and are found on equipment in most industries. Quick clamping shaft collars are designed for light duty power transmission applications and require no tools for installation or adjustments. They feature an integral handle that sits flush with the outer diameter when fully installed and can be actuated with one finger. Quick clamping shaft collars are well suited for applications that require frequent change outs of items such as media, guide rails, or setup fixturing. The tension-adjustment screw makes the collar compatible to wide shaft tolerances and allows for slight adjustments to axial holding power. Quick clamping shaft collars are made from 6061 aluminum for lightweight. They have a standard black anodized finish and are supplied with stainless steel hardware. Quick clamping shaft collars are stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. Ruland shaft collars are carefully made from select bar stock sourced exclusively from North American mills and are machined to a fine burr-free finish. Hardware exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torqueing capabilities and holding power. Ruland, founded in 1937, manufactures all products in our Marlborough, MA USA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes. Shaft collars are RoHS2 and REACH compliant.
