Metal sliding D-ring is an essential piece of sidemount diving harness, especially if you are diving lightweight cylinders i.e. aluminum or other tanks that get quickly buoyant when gas is consumed. This D-ring will allow diver to swiftly and easily correct scuba cylinder clip off point bringing cylinder to parallel to divers body and horizontal position.
