About 1986 - Present (Random Year) Lot Of (5) 1 Ounce

The American Silver Eagle series was original launched in 1986 and remains to be the world's best-selling and most sought-after series. In 2021 the United States Mint commemorated the 35th anniversary of the silver eagle series launching an all-new reverse design, known as "type 2", replacing the historic heraldic eagle design, or "type 1". These 1 oz American Silver Eagles are offered to you in "brilliant uncirculated" condition with certificates of authenticity. The coins features sharp details, crisp devices and satin-smooth fields, appealing to both investors and collectors alike. Containing one ounce of pure .999 fine silver, the coins hold an official legal tender status with a face value or monetization of $1, the weight, purity and content are guaranteed by the U.S. Government, making it a safe investment in precious metals. The obverse depicts the historic “walking liberty” design, a rendition of world-renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, originally used on the United States "half-dollar" coin from 1916 – 1947. Lady Liberty is shown with a long gown and the American flag draped across her body. A bouquet of olive branches is hold in her right hand while the other hand is held outstretched before her. The sun rises from the lower left. An iconic symbolism of the Roman Empire representing supreme authority. The reverse of the "type 1" design was originally designed by Robert Scot in 1792 as the first U.S. Mint Chief Engraver. The "type 2" reverse was designed by Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) artist Emily Damstra and was sculpted by Mint medallic artist Michael Gaudioso depicts an American bald eagle with the national heraldic shield, arrows and an olive branch on its talons. A wonderful addition to your bullion collection.
