About Diamond Brooch Series 1

An etching from the Diamond Brooch Series, created in the late 1970s by conceptual artist Les Levine. Each image in the series presents elaborately designed diamond brooches rendered in bright colors against a black background. On the bottom of the composition is written the following: "And he asked me why I was leaving / And I said, "I'm not leaving, I'm going on, continuing. / Because if I stay, I'll stop going on." / And he said, "I hope you know what you're doing." / And I said, "I don't have and choice in the matter." / And he said, "Well, I wish you the best of luck." This print is from an edition of 100 and is signed and numbered in pencil. Image Size: 18 x 11.5 inches.
