About 11" Rack & Pinion Unit
This rack is perfect for light weight buggies.ÿ This is the ticket for mini-rails, light weight rails, go karts, dune buggies and the like.ÿ Not recommended for Full Size Heavy Rails, i.e. 4 seaters, Buggies with more than a 4 Cylinder motor.ÿ This rack and pinion is also popular with the University SAE Formula, Mini-Baja programs, and racing Lawnmowers. It measures 11 3/8" from eye to eye and weighs approximately 2 1/4 lbs. The pinion will travel 3/4 of a turn from center to lock. The rack will travel 2 1/4" from center to lock. Distance between mounting holes is 1 5/16". The width of the body is 1 1/4".ÿÿ
