Review Trying to capture a mainstream audience, the talented San Francisco-based guitarist squeezes out stylized rock guitar runs and Albert King-inspired riffs that point to his blues training under Charlie Musslewhite, etc. The blend is mildly interesting. Alas, Ford's singing is wan, devoid of any appeal at all, and his old comrades from the pop-jazz Yellowjackets don't share his feel for the twelve-bar genre. -- © Frank John Hadley 1993 -- From Grove Press Guide to Blues on CD Product Description [Note: This product is an authorized CD-R and is manufactured on demand]
