Car, Boat Engine Guard Watchdog Overheating Features

  • Connect the first sensor to the Cylinder head: Displays your true engine temperature and If the engine overheats (alarm set point), the Temp controller will start beeping and also visually guide HHH on the controller screen intermittently to warn the driver. Also, you can use the output1 relay for switching any other action.

  • Connect a second sensor to the radiator or coolant system: you can control overheating of your radiator If the radiator overheats (alarm set point), the Temp controller will start beeping and also visual guide HHH on the controller screen intermittently to warn the driver. Also, you can use the output2 relay for switching any other action. You can connect the second sensor to another area of your engine cylinder head that monitor and control overheating in all area of your engine cylinder Head. Also, you can use a second sensor for checking or controlling the temperature of the transmission.

  • The heat sensor1 simply fits like a washer under any suitable bolt that is close to the cylinder head or engine block like under a tappet cover bolt or thermostat housing bolt and sensor 2 under any suitable radiator bolt (If you want to check the radiator temp, you can connect Temperature Sensor to the upper radiator hose too). The sensor detects changes so quickly, drivers can see their engine temperature rise and fall degree by degree (with 0.1-degree resolution) as they drive in varying traffic and road conditions.

  • Technical Parameters: Temperature measuring range: -30 to 300 °C (-22 to 572°F) Power consumption< 3W Sensors: Two Sensors with a 3m wire length Power supply: 12VDC Output: 2 outputs with 10 Amp load

  • Sensor Specification: Measurement range: -30 to 300 C (-22 to 572F) Cable length (L): 10 ft (3m) Sensing tip material: washer-type cupper sensor Washer inside diameter: 10mm Sensor type: Negative Temperature Coefficient NTC sensor

  • 2 separate relays and 2 sensors with 2 independent zones temperature controllers. So, it can use as a backup overheating alarm with 2 sensors. 2 color displays (red and blue) for each zone. The record of the maximum high temperature for each sensor or each zone. Selectable between Celsius and Fahrenheit. 2 separate High Alarm functions (buzzer and flash alarm). 2 timer output delay for Out1 and Out2. Temperature calibration for each sensor. Keep Setting on memory and also the factory default setting option.

About Car, Boat Engine Guard Watchdog Overheating

You don't even need to know your engine's temperature specifications to set the overheating alarm. You simply note the highest temperature your engine reaches during normal driving, then set the audible alarm to go off at a few degrees higher. This controller can be set to alarm at any temperature from -30 to 300 degrees C (-22 to 572 Fahrenheit). The controller can also be used to monitor the temperature of Air air-cooled engines, Transmissions, Gearboxes, Transfer Boxes, and Wet Exhausts in fact anything up to 120 degrees Celsius for a professional racing car and It can be fitted by any handyman. The main unit fits under the dash (Compact size - 75 (W) x 86 (H) x 35 (D) mm, plus mounting tabs. The power just connects to 12V DC by wire. The Controller has 2 separate relay outputs (for sensor 1 and sensor 2), and you can connect the outputs to any devices that you need to run when you have emergency overheating and control the extra coolers or fans with your controller. So if your car has two coolers or you installed 2 extra Fans, you can set each output according to your needed controlling options. For example, this system can help to prevent overheating due to: - Coolant loss -Hose leaks - Malfunctioning thermostat - Blockage in the radiator or radiator hose and cap - Water pump failure - Oil system problem - Airflow restriction
