Alpha Nanotech Ultra-Transparent Quartz Crucibles Features

  • Temperature tolerance as high as 1150°C (2102°F) for continuous heating and as high as 1250°C (2282°F) for non-continuous heating. Chemical tolerance to most acidic, basic, and organic-based solvents including hydrochloric acid, anhydrous ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, or others.

  • Cutting-edge polishing technology adopted to make the highest transparent degree for the laboratory grade quartz crucibles. The industrial-grade quartz crucibles have relatively coarsely-finished surfaces while the laboratory grade quartz crucibles have the best finely-finished surfaces with the highest transparent degree possible.

  • Care needs to be taken for the material contained. Quartz-incompatible materials should be minimized in contact or fully avoided if possible, such as hydrofluoric acid, fluorine, chlorine trifluoride or other strong oxidizers.

About Alpha Nanotech Ultra-Transparent Quartz Crucibles

Alpha Nanotech Ultra-Transparent Fused Quartz Crucibles with Lids Our ultra-transparent quartz cubicles are made of pure quartz materials above 99.5% by wt. only and can withstand long-term continuous heating temperatures as high as 1150°C (2102°F) and short-term non-continuous heating shocks as high as 1250°C (2282°F). We have newly adopted the advanced method for polishing our quartz crucibles to the best possible transparent degree available that you can find in today’s market. We have volumes of 10 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, and 150 ml available in stock, and other sizes can be also ordered on a customized basis. 10 ml: 3.2 cm (L) x 3.2 cm (W) x 4.2 cm (H) 50 ml: 5.7 cm (L) x 5.7 cm (W) x 6.9 cm (H) 100 ml: 6.8 cm (L) x 6.8 cm (W) x 7.8 cm (H) 150 ml: 7.8 cm (L) x 7.8 cm (W) x 11.7 cm (H) The above numbers are for the outer dimensions with the errors of 1 mm. The thickness of the quartz crucible walls is 2.5 mm. Both the industrial grade and the laboratory grade are heat-resistant and chemical-resistant. The only difference is the surface polished degree. The industrial-grade quartz crucibles have coarsely-finished surfaces and laboratory grade quartz crucibles have only finely-finished surfaces.
