This book is a collection of over 200 system neutral NPC ideas and options to help you add more flavor, conflict and depth to your fantasy tabletop game world. This book does have elements of dark fantasy but any RPG set in a fantasy world will have a use for it. Not all, but many of the NPCs have personal relationships with other NPCs in the book. They can be on great terms with each other or bitter enemies. There are also some Magic Items included. There are no special rules in the book. The NPCs do not have stats. You will have to adapt them to your own specific game system and game worlds as you see fit as the GM. This also makes a great gift for GM friends or GM family members. Features: 104 detailed NPCs, each with motivations and secrets for player characters to get mixed up in. Many of these could also serve as quest giving NPCs, some can also be recruited as secondary characters in the party. The 104 detailed NPCs are broken down into 37 good, 33 neutral, and 34 bad NPCs. Several NPCs are not human, including a captive young dragon, demons, a living tree, a corrupted tree, and a sentient ooze. 101 lesser NPCs intended to be more like background extras for you to populate wherever you want. Some lesser NPCs are not as detailed as the others but many also have motivations and secrets of their own. They range from common farmers to criminals, soldiers. These are formatted differently than the previous 104. Some of the NPCs have connections to magic items. Those magic items have also been included, as well as some bonus extras. 28 in total. 52 NPCs have grayscale portrait art. Some NPCs are members of a secret society. That society has also been included. 2 unfortunate NPCs mutate into monsters and so those monsters have also been included, as well as art for them.
